James's obituary

James Ray Ellinger, 54, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on October 25, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. James grew up in Baltimore, in an area that to this day, the friends that he made became family and were still in his life 50 years later. He worked as a CDL truck driver for several years. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, riding motorcycles, Ravens football, the Orioles and caring for the family dogs. His favorite time of year was Christmas. He loved his daughter Mackenzie most of all. His eyes would shine when he talked about her, he was so proud of the woman that she has grown up to be. Jim will be dearly missed and always remembered.

James was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Ellinger, Father William Ellinger, brothers-in-law Bruce Fisher and Ernie Thompson and best friend Brian Bateman. He is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Ellinger, sisters Kathy Thompson and Barbara Fisher, brother William Ellinger, nephew Kenny Thompson and nieces Jennifer Phillips and Taylor Fisher and many friends that he considered family. James requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Jim’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his life at Arbutus Town Hall, 1349 Stevens Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on December 16th from 1pm -5pm.
