We are celebrating the lives of our dear parents , James "Jimmy" Martin Easterling Sr. and Geneva Marie Easterling  passed away on 07/30/2019 in Grand Bay, Alabama and Jimmy, followed her in death nearly 3 years later on 5/12/2022. They were long time residents of Grand Bay, Al. where they raised their children and watched their grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.  Jimmy and Geneva also raised several foster children over the years and loved them all as their own.  

Jimmy was born on 06/23/1940 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to James Travis Easterling and Rosa Lee Easterling. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Geneva was born on 07/14/1941 in Richmond, West Virginia to Joseph Chapman and Hazel Marie Branch. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales.  As a couple, they were well known throughout the community to be a happy couple who lived life to the fullest. They were always spending time with their family and always had children around where they became affectionately known as Nanny and Pawpaw. They are survived by [Jimmy's Sister] Jean Brand, [Geneva’s brothers] Michael and Robert Joe chapman],[sisters] Lois Jean Henderson, Patricia Joyce McCoy and Nina J Collier, and [daughter] Tammy Rebecca Stewart, [Son]  James "Marty"  Martin Easterling Jr., [Son] Christopher Travis Easterling, [Granddaughter] Jennifer Green, [Granddaughter] Brandy Taylor, [Grandson] Brian West, [Grandson] Shane Easterling [Grandson] Dexter Stewart, [Granddaughter] Kelsie Stewart [Granddaughter] Shelby Easterling and [Grandson] Trace Easterling and predeceased by Jimmy’s [Brothers] Mack Dale and Jerry Easterling, Geneva’s [brother] Freddie Lee Chapman and [sisters] Joann Rose and Brenda Carol Soloff. Services will take place on [05/21/2022] at 1500 hours at [Camp Grace, 11081 Wanda Dr, Mobile, AL 36608 ].
