James's obituary

James J DeLorge

Entered his eternal Home

Oct. 19, 2021

In addition to his loving wife Linda, he leaves behind his son James & wife Brenda, Daughter Sue & husband Gary, daughter Connie, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, 3 sisters, many nieces, nephews & loved ones. Predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, a grandson and other loved ones.

He loved to spend time with family, enjoyed building puzzles, shooting pool, playing ball in the pool, mini golf, doing word search & shopping. He enjoyed dancing and singing. He liked all music especially Elvis songs. He loved to do songs with his grandchildren, he would play Elvis and the children were the Elvettes.  Also did songs and dancing with the great grandchildren too.  He enjoyed volunteering and helping others.

His wife Linda was the love of his life, he always told others how much he loved his wife, they were still holding hands and displaying affection for one another even after 56 years of marriage, that's a great testimony of their love.

Message he left for us all before he took his final breath here- he said, "We all need Jesus" "Jesus Saves" and was singing Jesus loves me.  "Praise the Lord" these are words that he made sure he was telling us right up until the end here. I believe these are words we need to hold onto and realize it's through Jesus that we are saved.  When our place is prepared and ready, we too can go Home to our Father in Heaven.

He was with the love of his life right up until his last breath and just like they did when they were together, he left here with his hand in hers.

He's now on his eternal journey. God will hold him in His arms and we will hold him in our hearts, until we meet again. He is sadly missed and loved.
