When Jimmy Dean's cousin Jim Pangallo got sick with cancer. He was there to help me. He spent time at the hospital when Jim was in the hospital. He was there when the doctor told me that there was nothing else to be done for Jim. The cancer was not responding to the treatments that he was getting. It was great feeling to know that there are people like Jimmy Dean. To be there when things are going out of control and you need a helping hand.
I was working at the park and Jimmy Dean was hired also. We worked a bunch of different jobs in the park. We were at one of the cabins cleaning and he told me to move the one vehicle we had there a Cushman(3 wheeled). I was trying to back it up and I had never driven the vehicle before and got it going and also ran over Jimmy Dean. He was hollering at me to stop. We were laughing and he basically told me that he would drive it back to the shop. But I did learn how to drive it. I really liked working with him. We had fun. Quite a few years after that I married his cousin Jim Pangallo. He always had a smile and something to say. He was a great person, friend and loved his family very much. He was there when Jim was diagnosed with cancer. And when Jim ended up in the hospital in his last days Jimmy Dean was there giving support and comfort.
Sandy & Family, I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy Dean's passing. My heart goes out to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you need or need help with please let me know.
