James Aurthur Davis Jr, age 43, died at home in San Diego. He was born here in sunny San Diego on August 12th 1980 to parents James Davis Sr. and Lirio Davis (Taverna). He was the youngest of three, survived by his older sisters Geraldine Davis-Hyland and Michelle Barwick. Jimmy is also survived by his two children Elise Belen Kerr, age 20, and Gage Steven Davis, age 14. Jimmy was a loving and dedicated father, hard worker, and kind hearted man. James grew up in the Spring Valley area and graduated from Mount Miguel High School where he made life long connections and formed brotherhoods. He was friendly and patient with everyone, his kindness knew no bounds. He worked for Starbucks, Cost Plus World Market, and more recently Harbor Freight. Jimmy devoted much of his time to the study of martial arts, specifically Capoeira and Muay Thai. Overall, James was a beaming light of positivity; he will be remembered for his vibrancy, warm-hearted spirit, and good nature.
