Veronica & Jas, really sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I know you all will miss his big spirit and big laugh. Me and Mom think of you guys alot. We both just hoped you all were happy after the move. I've never mentioned this to Jim or you guys or even my Mom, but there were times that I wasn't in great spirits through the years or even motivated to get out of bed and tackle the day. Then I'd look out the blinds in my bedroom window and see Jim down in your yard, tending to the garden, getting the pool ready for the summer or yelling "Rascal, get out of there!" Lol! Just watching him for those couple of minutes always seem to put a smile on my face and realize that life's not so bad. To just get on up and out there! We would always have a quick conversation when we'd see each other. Usually about Rascal or our dogs, whatever job I was working at the time, how bad Sheraden has gotten, shoveling snow, stuff like that. Can't even lie, I really miss those small talks with him. Well, wherever you guys are, just know we really liked having you all as neighbors and we do think of you guys. Take care of yourselves and each other. Again, my condolences. Sup' Jas.

I have been praying for him while he was in the hospital and I am saddened by his passing. Memories flooded through my mind. When my family visited one summer, he mentioned the boys hair was too long. My boys liked Jason's haircut, so Jim had them sit on the picnic table and shaved their heads. When they were clean and the curls were in his yard the boys jumped into the always welcoming pool.
And when his family visited me in Erie, we all took a drive to Conneaut Railroad Museum. The kids scrambled around the caboose and engine set up for viewing and Jim sat on a bench behind the station and watched the trains go by.
He made a memory wherever he was and I will have some fond memories to remember him. Rest in Peace. Your family is in my prayers.
Verónica, so sorry for your loss. I was shocked by the news, since the last time I spoke with Jim, he had told me all of the precautions that you were taking. Again,my sympathy. Duane
