James "Jim" John Conchie died on December 16, 2023 surrounded by family and on his own terms. He spent his last few days with loved ones, sharing memories of his life. He spoke fondly of his childhood with his parents Jo and Angus Conchie, and siblings Michael (April), Robert (Jacquie), and Janet (Bill). He was wrapped in the love of his wife Lynne, "the best thing that ever happened to him" and his daughters Brook (Joanne) and Alex (Rishay), of whom he was infinitely proud. He will be missed by many friends he met through his travels, numerous jobs and his homes in Nelson, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

His family requests that you remember him for his kindness, generosity and impassioned political activism. We hope that you will enjoy a good book, a delicious meal, or a great song in his honour.
