James Colvin Sr was born in Brighton, Al on October 1, 1937. James is followed in death by his parents Evelyn Kemp Colvin and Elbert Howard Colvin. His wife Jane Smith Colvin. His brother Micheal Colvin and 5 sisters Mary Colvin Coleman, Elizabeth Colvin Arnold, Sherry Colvin Kervin, Susan Colvin Neil, and Katherine Colvin Jackson. James had four children and twelve grandchildren. 

James will be cremated with a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you send donations to The American Cancer Society or The Diabetes Association.
