It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, James Christopher Harrison, who peacefully passed away on June 23rd, 2025, at the age of 60 years old.

James was born on October 24th, 1964, in Kountze Tx to James Thomas “J.T.” Harrison and Jeanette Allen. James was a gentle and loud loving man whose friendly and funny spirit never knew a stranger. A truck driver by nature, there was not a piece of machinery he could not operate. His passion for hunting, fishing, raising chickens, and riding horses was only surpassed by his love for spending time with his cherished family.

James is survived by his brother JM Harrison of Odessa, Texas. Loving ex-wives Dixie Harrison of Midland and Stephanie Ogelsby of Fort Worth. He was “King daddy-o coolest daddy-o in all the land” to his cherished daughters, Ladonna Johnston, Kimberly Harrison, and Samantha Harrison DeLongchamp, all of Midland, Texas. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Candace Shanks, Brittany Johnston, Spencer Johnston, Danielle Johnston, Sophie Harrison, Sydney DeLongchamp, Jacob and Jordan McCarty. As well as his niece and nephew Skyler and Shawna Harrison.

James was preceded in death by his parents J.T. and Jeanette Harrison of Cleveland, Texas. Grandparents Bessie and Marion Harrison of Houston , Texas, and Joseph and Gertrude Allen of Honey Island, Texas. He is also preceded by nephew Peter Clegg of Midland, Texas and cousin Cathy Dooley of Conroe, Texas.

James was a loving and fun spirit whose heartbreaking loss will be forever felt by all who loved and knew him.
