James Lee Chatman (aka) Jimmy Lee was born on November 22, 1948 in Belzoni, Mississippi to the late Everleaner Daniels. He was later brought to Buchanan, Michigan where he was raised by his GrandParents, the late Elizabeth Hill and James Hill Sr. Later in life he turned his life over to Christ and married his lovely wife Carla Yoder on January 23,2010. In this union Jimmy Lee gained a stepson Justin Yoder who referred to Jim as Popa Whopa. Jimmy Lee also gained his sobriety and joined the Civitan Club of Jackson working for the community where he resided along with his family in Jackson, Michigan. Jimmy Leaves to cherish his wife Carla Yoder, 1 Stepson, Justin Yoder, 3 nephews, Blake Williams, Thomas Willis Jr. and Kevin Williams. 2 nieces Princess Willis and Sherian Williams and a host of cousins and close friends.
Jim was known for his loud voice and his peculiar since of humor. He will definitely be missed.
