James Brian Cadenhead, 65 of Richmond, Texas passed away on June 15, 2021. He had fought a battle with heart disease for many years.

Jim born on September 19, 1955 to parents Charles Patrick and Arley Eleanor in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Both his parents passed away when he was 12 and he moved to Illinois. After graduating from Lake Forest High School in 1973 he went on to study Economics at DePauw University in Indiana.

After graduation, he landed a job at Apple and later worked for IBM, attaining a sales career in Technology. After college he moved to the Los Angeles area to be close to his maternal grandparents and the ocean.

Jim formed many lasting friendships at DePaul University, as well as many others spread across the country. Although he never had children of his own that did not stop him for treating many family members as his own. Jim loved deeply and felt family connections were among the most important relationships in life.

After many years in California he met, the love of his life, Brenda in 2006 and they were wed the following year. While Jim and Brenda met later in life they shared a love for her children, David Brandon (Kimberly) and DeVaughna Bryn, as well as the six grandchildren.

Jim was predeceased by his parents (Charles Patrick and Arley Eleanor Cadenhead and brother, Andrew. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, and siblings, Pat (Cyndy), Sherry (Bruce), Lucia (Tom), Bruce (Cynthia), and (Nancy) and many other nieces and nephews and extended family.
