James Milton Brown

James Milton Brown passed away on June 20, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with addiction. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Though his life was filled with challenges, he touched the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

James is survived by his loving mother, Eileen Masserant (Ray Masserant); his caring sisters, Kelly Fournier (Dave Fournier) and Wendy Teich (Shawn Teich); and his two cherished sons, Mason Brown and Julian Brown, who brought light to his darkest days and love to his heart. He was also a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren. James is lovingly remembered by his nephew, Kaleb Nordberg; Aunt Kathy Ekelund; Uncle Teddy; and many extended family members who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Though James struggled with addiction for many years, those who truly knew him saw beyond the pain to the kind and caring soul within. He had a good heart and a deep, lasting love for his family that never faded.

While his time here was far too short, James' memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. May he now find the peace he spent so long searching for.

A private family service will be held on July 26, 2025, to honor his life.
