Jim's obituary

James K. Brazill's life was a masterclass in the pursuit of excellence. Born on January 14, 1948 and passed away on April 8, 2024. Jim's unwavering dedication to his craft and unrelenting drive led him to achieve unparalleled success. As the son of Dorothy Kemp and Paul Brazill, he was raised in Rochester, New York, and graduated early from Greece High School. Jim pursued an apprenticeship in the tool and die industry, laying the foundation for his future accomplishments. His commitment to serve led him to join the US Army and proudly serve in Korea, where he earned an honorable discharge following a lower leg injury. Unshaken, Jim returned home with his relentless quest for perfection led him and co-founded Century Mold a tool and die injection molding company that earned the first prestigious status of authorized General Motors Supplier with offices in Rochester NY and Shelbyville TN. Jim's unwavering commitment to excellence fueled his unparalleled success, earning him multiple awards and cementing his legacy as a business icon. His passion for life was contagious, as he embraced every moment to the fullest. Alongside his partner of 40 years, Wendy, he traveled extensively in his RV visiting  47 states and 6 Canadian providence’s and enjoying many boat excursions around the Great Lakes, entertaining was his passion, forming lasting memories for all and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Loved the lake life, living on Rock Beach Road in Rochester NY for many years then moving to Sarasota FL. Jim's enduring spirit and unwavering passion for craftsmanship he enjoyed  all home improvement projects along with his dedication to help and or assist all with any projects needed.  He enjoyed all things Golf and the friendships and stories that went along with it,  including many tournament's won! Jim has left a lasting impact on those who knew him, his spirit of adventure and his love of life will be remembered for years to come. Survived by his family, Wife Wendy (Lindstrom) Brazill, Sister Nancy Houle, Son Michael (Cecile) Finucane, Son Eric (Sharon) Finucane, Daughter Karrie (Torey) Snyder, Daughter Kristie (Rob) DeSantis, and Step-Son Joe Kral. Grandchildren Abigail DeSantis, Aidan and Ava Finucane, Zoey and Tinzley Snyder and his beloved Kitties Sunshine and Luna.

A celebration of life will be held in Rochester NY on August 3, 2024 from 1-4 location Castaways on the Lake, 244 Lake Road, Webster NY 14580
