Jamie's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jamie" Beamon Jr., more affectionately known as Jamie, who went home to be with his Savior on August 9, 2024. Born on May 25, 1952, Jamie exemplified warmth, generosity, and faith throughout his 72 years of life.

Jamie leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply. His devoted wife, Elizabeth Beamon; his beloved children, Christi Brown, Travis Beamon, and Jennifer Glassford and their spouses and children, Troy Brown, Kate Beamon, Shawn Glassford, Jackson, Ellie, Charlotte, and Dexter;  as well as his siblings Elizabeth Amaya and Steven Beamon, and many other extended family members survive him. Jamie was predeceased by his parents, James and Hazel Beamon, who loved him dearly.

A fan of sports, Jamie passionately cheered on his favorite teams – the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. His love for the sport was only surpassed by his love for his family and his faith. He was a man of great integrity and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Jamie's legacy of faith and generosity will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. He will be remembered not just for the life he lived, but for the lives he touched with his kindness, humility, and profound generosity.

A Celebration of Life for Jamie will be held on August 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at 201 Mount Gilead Road in Keller, Texas. We invite all those who loved Jamie and were touched by his extraordinary spirit to join us as we remember and celebrate his remarkable life.
