Background
James Andy Wright, age 63, of Piqua, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 6, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Everett Wright and Norma Jean (Betts) Wright. He married the love of his life, Lynn Cromes, on May 8, 1976 and she survives.
James is survived by his children: Eric (Jill) Wright of Fletcher, Ohio, Annie Dankworth of Xenia, Ohio; Grandchildren: John, Lauren, Steven, Kyle, Owen; Sister: Mary Lou Hogan of New York. He is preceded in death by Brother Charlie Betts.
A man of many talents, James was very involved with photography, handheld radios, and fishing. He was a 1975 graduate from Piqua High School who went on to work for Good Samaritan Hospital as a Computer Analyst for many years. He loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow up. He will be missed greatly.
A private graveside service will be held in his honor.
Unfortunately, Andy's battle with illness and cancer took a heavy financial toll. His family is requesting assistance offsetting funeral costs, outstanding medical expenses, and other costs related to his passing.
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated, and help bring his family peace of mind during a troubled time. Contribute
