James Alexander Booker Jay was born 2/7/1974 and passed 5/29/2025. He was thoughtful and meek Son. It's been hard to find the right words to express how much my Son meant to me. James had an amazing  way of lifting my spirits.  Even though he was dealing with past trauma and medical problems. Family meant everything to him. My Mom, his grandmother who he named Pompee was his #1 love. Whoever James came in contact with he left a lasting positive footprint. You are loved and missed Son. James was leaves  Carolynn Booker Davis Mother,  Siblings Dannelle Davis and John Davis. James had a lot of stepbrothers and sisters. His father is Charles Winsley. James was the father of one child Christina Salazar.  Uncle Derrick Booker & Esteryn wife Est Aunties Willene Curtis, Mary Dixon, Evance Soash and Karmen Booker.  Foster Aunt Kathryn Porter Loving . Grandmother Katherine Booker.

  He will be missed by his Nieces Tiffanee Davis and Nene, Ja'Nasia and JaSlynn Davis. James has two nephews  Jobe and Ja'Syaha he didn't get the chance to see or meet due to his blindness and other medical conditions related to diabetes. He left a friend of almost 13 years Laronda Black, ex-wife Ashley Booker and a host of cousins too many to list.

James Cremation was prepared by Good Shepherd Furneral &Cremation Services. The Family and Friends Celebration will be at a later date.
