I met Jameel back in 1993 as a coworker.  We both had served in the US Army and loved music!!! I used to joke with him about  my son was born when we met!!!! Jameel and I remained friends over the years. We may not have worked together but always talked.  We finally worked together at the  Washington Navy Yard in the early 2000s.  We would have great conversations about his music and where he wanted to go.   I even had the opportunity to train him at my security training school.  Later our lives crossed paths when I moved to the Fredericksburg area.  I sent him a Christmas card and we continued our friendship.   When he needed help, I was there. As was the same with him.  He will always be a dear brother.
