Jamal's obituary
Jamal was a juvenile House Martin, a native European bird. He was ambitious, caring, and well-known leader of his community. In his short life, Jamal enjoyed eating worms and other tubular invertebrates of the annelida phylum. He could often be heard chirping in his nest with his family in the building 1836 rooftop.
On July 2nd, 2020, Jamal was involved in what can only be described as a blunt force trauma injury to the cranium which induced shock after either falling from his nest, or flying into a wall at a high speed. As time passed, encephalitis slowly set, increasing cranial pressure of young Jamal’s cerebrum. This would have caused loss of sensation, seizures, and ultimately, his death.
May his soul forever Rest In Peace in an aviary heaven. He will not be forgotten.
