Jamal is preceded in death by his parents Lisha Venise Black and Charles M. Boozer
Jamal Boozer was a King of many crowns, he was a man of God that captured the hearts of many. He was protector that wiped away your tears and told you that you had nothing to fear. He was a family man that loved and lived for his children, but most of all he loved to be around his brothers and sisters having family time. Whether it was playing spades at Nia’s House or going to the basket courts with Shabazz or going to the gym with Shaheed and Amante. But most of all he loved going to church with his baby sister Yishaki and his family. He loved going to the beach with his family and friends. He believed in family and togetherness and regardless of the barriers he tried with all his might to bring them together.
Jamal was the first of his family graduate High School and College where he obtained his Associate in Science in Justice Studies/ Corrections and an Academic Certificate in Justice Studies/Criminal Justice and was attending Wilmington University for his Bachelors. Jamal was a hard-working man He worked for Clement Pappas for 7 years as a shipping and receiving clerk. Jamal was remembered by his high school friends and family as Vineland High Super Sprinter aka GO BOOZE and won many medals.
Jamal is survived by his two sister, Yishaki Boozer and Alberta Black aka Nia Black, Amante Black, and host of 26 nieces and nephews.
