It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jaleisa "Jah" Britt on August 28, 2023. Born on December 16, 2005, Jaleisa was a kind-hearted, respectful, and helpful individual who lit up the lives of everyone she encountered.

Jaleisa is survived by her mother, Ms Britt, her sister, Miracle Britt, her father, Ron Britt, her cousin, Jaliyah Mason, and her aunt, Carise Mason. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Lorian Britt, and her grandfather, Gregory Mason.

Jaleisa began working at Food Lion on May 12, 2021, showcasing her respectful and helpful nature to all. Her joyous spirit was reflected in her love for various activities and hobbies. She was fond of wings and fries, Coke and Sprite, and was an avid fan of the Harry Potter series, notably 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.'

Her musical taste leaned towards The Weekend, her favorite TV show was CSI Miami, and she enjoyed watching the movie Friday. A loyal supporter of the Lakers, Jaleisa loved playing basketball, board games, and cherished the time spent with her sister, Miracle. When not playing, she loved running track and doing gym workouts.

Among her favorite spots were California for vacations and Kings Dominion locally. She deeply cared about her family and friends and always carried the colors purple and yellow close to her heart.

Jaleisa's love was unconditionally given, irrespective of the situation. One of her proudest achievements was getting her first car. Her legacy of kindness and wellbeing continues to inspire us and reminds us of what truly matters.

Her boyfriend, Greg, along with her many friends and family, will remember her as an extraordinary individual whose presence enriched their lives. We will forever hold Jaleisa in our hearts and memories.
