Jaiwan was born to Kenneth and Bobbie Cooper on September 12, 1989, at Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was the second of three children. As a child, Jaiwan enjoyed the outdoors and listening to music. He had a great fondness for exploration and technology. He loved the Speedville woods, spending hours riding bikes, …

We will celebrate Jaiwan's life on July 1st, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will be at Eliam Baptist Church (6009 Hampton St., Melrose, FL, 32666). We are asking folks to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Following, the ceremony the burial will be at Speedville Cemetery (879 SE 35st., Melrose, FL 32666). Prior to the funeral, the wake will be conducted on June 30th, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Phillip & Sons The Funeral Directors, Inc. (310 FL-26, Melrose, FL 32666). Family and friends are encouraged to attend. The family asks that NO photos are taken his body as that would go against his wishes. Thank you for your understanding.
