Background
Juvenile myasthenia gravis (JMG) is a rare autoimmune disorder that occurs when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks acetylcholine receptors in the neuromuscular junction. This disrupts communication between nerves and muscles, causing muscle weakness and fatigue.
