My daddy, Jaegyu Ryoo passed away on February 8th at the North York General Hospital at the age of 71. He took his last breath peacefully with a presence of my mom, Rubina whom he has been married to for 42 years. He was surrounded by loved ones including his daughter Neena, son Steven, son-in-law Daniel, sister-in-law Eunice and her family and myself, Byulna.

He was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2013 and fought a good fight. My dad has now finished the race and is resting peacefully with the Lord in Heaven.

He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Elle, Hugo and Luca, his son-in-law Kuehyun and his sister and brothers.

My daddy would want you to fill your hearts with all the happy memories you have of him dancing, singing and laughing as he loved sharing that with you all.

I'd like to share a special thank you on behalf of my family to the wonderful staff at Cummerlodge Long Term Care Centre and the North York General Hospital. Their love and support throughout this difficult journey during my dad's battle against Lewy Body Dementia and his final days will ALWAYS be remembered and cherished.

The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
