Jade's obituary
Jade Benson, 46, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on November 19, 2022 surrounded by friends and family.
Jade was born on August 13, 1976 to Cheryl Benson and Charles Pixler in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from Irving Alternative High School in 1997, he became a licensed plumber and has served the community ever since. In 2002, he met Amanda Theisen, and they wed on August 6, 2004, going on to have four children together, Caden, Carter, Kirsten, and Jadelynn. Jade was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of all of his children and Amanda and always tried his best to support them.
Jade was passionate about bike riding, hiking, flying kites, and spending time outdoors with his family. You could also find him cuddling and watching a movie with his wife and kids. Anyone who knew Jade knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
He is survived by his wife and five children, his mother, Cheryl Benson, his brother, Brandon Benson, and his two sisters, Amber Benson and Nicole Love. He is also survived by several half brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as several cousins, all whom he deeply loved.
