Jada Mairin Samitt, age 22, of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost her life on January 30, 2026 when the fishing vessel Lily Jean was lost at sea 22 miles off the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Born on May 21, 2003, she was a spirited young woman who brought joy and laughter to everyone she knew.
