Mom, I really miss you. It’s been two years since you’ve been gone. Just sitting here thinking about you, Marion, Ronnie and Ricky. Love you all.
Yes I miss her too! Sending lots of love and prayers!

Mom, it has been a year since you went home.  I miss you every single day. Thank you for the grace you gave to ensure we cared for others in our circle of influence. Your legacy lives on.  Never realized how much you were the anchor.  Til I join you in heaven.  Love you. 🥰
Mom never met a stranger that she didn’t want to help. There was always room at the table to feed one more person. Mom was generous to a fault. Sometimes with other people’s 💰 🤣

My favorite memory was one where mom agreed to host a woman’s retreat for me and my friends.  I was leading the retreat called “First Love”.  I had 7 woman from my church join us at the cabin.  When we arrived, the cabin was lit up beautifully.  All weekend mom cooked and made sure everything was perfect.  All the food was “decorated” and beautiful.  One of my friends, Debbie Barrett, told my mom, “when I get home, I am going to just mess up my food before I eat it”.  This was in reference to the hours we waited to eat, so mom could make it pretty.  LOL.  I thought of the comment that Romance is something made lovely because of love.  Mom loved making things beautiful and inviting.  None of us will ever forget the bath tub full of iridescent bubbles.
