Jacki Jacqueline Roman, born December 31, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Hersey, Michigan. She was 81 years old.

On April 20, 1963, Jacki married Larry Adam Roman in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Together they built a life filled with love and family until Larry’s passing in 2009. Their union was blessed with three children: Robyn (Ken) Saladin, Larry Roman Jr. (Shelly), and Scott Roman. Jacki took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother to her eight grandchildren: Paige, Alex, Luke, Anna, Bradlee, Douglas, Chelsea, and Adam.

Jacki had a deep affection for animals and spent her life caring for many beloved dogs and cats. Her compassion extended to every creature she welcomed into her home. Among them was Sunshine, her cherished Shih Tzu and constant companion. One of her favorite pastimes was relaxing in front of the television with Sunshine by her side—a simple joy that brought her peace and comfort.

Though she never formally expressed religious beliefs, Jacki had a playful spirit and often joked with her grandchildren that she was a "witch," a reflection of her unique sense of humor and the special bond she shared with them.

Jacki's warmth and wit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and continue to inspire kindness toward all living beings.
