I truly believe that in life …
I truly believe that in life God sends you special people - never for the same reason & not always at the same time. Jackie was one of those people for me. Since I started at Memorial, she was always a bright light! Little did I know how much I would need her bright light and positivity to get through a truly difficult year. We forged a friendship and I am truly grateful for that. I enjoyed our talks about life, faith, family, and her beloved "Kam Kam." I will keep those memories dear and her family in my prayers. 'Til we meet again (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)!

I have known Jackie for several years.  When the badging process was located in Human Resources, I had to keep in contact with Jackie for information on the medical student badges.  She was always on top of things and always had the right answers.  She was the perfect resource for the medical students and she delighted in helping them.  I will miss Jackie.  I pray for her family and friends that God will bring them peace which surpasses all understanding.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.  Praying the Lord gives you and your family strength, peace, and comfort during this time. Jackie will be deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to Jackie’s family.  Not long after Jackie joined our residency program in 2008, she said to me one day, “My goal is to one day have your job.” I was a little taken aback, and told her she had a long wait since I was nowhere near retiring! We both laughed and ended up having a great working and personal relationship. Fast forward to October 2022 when the wait was over and Jackie became the new Pediatric Residency Program Coordinator. Throughout the years I watched Jackie as she performed so many selfless acts of generosity and kindness. For me personally, she was there for me many times during my times of personal loss. Another time I needed to have a medical procedure but had no one to take me. Jackie came to my rescue and picked me up, stayed with me, and then took me home. She refused to accept anything in return for her kindness. That was Jackie. She loved engaging with people, she loved her family, she doted on her grandkids, she loved her church and she loved her God. Rest in peace sweet Jackie.

My deep condolences to the family and friends of Jackie. I worked with her for the last 10 years and she became a great friend to me.  She was selfless, funny, hardworking and considerate of everyone.   She was a beautiful singer.  She taught me to not worry about the small things and to always give it to God.  She loved her family.  She loved God.  She always joked with me about "what a mess" I am. I would do anything to hear her say those words to me again.  She will be greatly missed and I will never forget her.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Looking fancy at our Graduation Event. I will miss your teasing and our "inside" jokes.
I am her youngest daughter and I just wanted to let everyone know that it fills my heart reading all of the heartfelt comments and seeing the impact my mother had on everyone she came across. It’s so amazing to know that the same love, generosity and selflessness she showed to our family, she also gave it to everyone she met. That’s genuinely just who she was as a person. I know it’s kind of hard for me to personally speak to and respond to everyone who has been reaching out but I do see them all and I am so grateful and appreciative for every kind word and gesture that has been shown to my family. Thank you ❤️
Jackie was a beautiful person.   I worked with her in medical education at Memirisl Health.  She was always helpful and always went the extra mile. She will be missed.  Rest in peace sweet lady.  Bless your family and friends.   Your friend, JoAnne Warman
The Wiggins family is so very sorry for your loss. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. Jackie was so much more than a co-worker to me. She was a dear friend, and her passing has left a huge hole in my heart. She was always doing so many things to make sure others needs were met. God has gained a special angel! Jackie lived her life following God's Word as described in Matthew 6. She was generous, prayerful, and stored up her treasures in Heaven not on this earth. I hope your family can seek comfort in knowing that she has seen the face of Jesus, is happily walking with God, and is looking down on us all with her beautiful smile.
I worked with Jackie during our times at Memorial Hospital with Mercer University as the Pediatric and Psychiatry Clerkship Coordinators. We had many a good time traveling back and forth to Macon for our annual meetings. As many of you know she was a serious and I mean serious Alabama fan. She would even purchase her vehicles in Alabama Red. Jackie was a hard worker and a no-nonsense type of person. She would do anything asked of her. I pray God will grant the family some sense of peace at this extremely difficult time. She will definitely be missed.

The Hogan family is deeply saddened by the loss of this lovely lady.  I worked with Jackie for 15 years. She was my right hand through it all. Her smile was contagious and her generosity abounding.  She was a loyal co-worker, a compassionate educator and a dear, dear friend. I will miss sweet Jackie terribly.  God bless her entire family!

P.S. Her only fault was she was an Alabama fan...Roll Tide, Jackie! The golden gates are open and ready for you!

Natalie Hogan

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult  time.  Jackie was always an invaluable help to me at work, and I don’t know what I’m going to do without her.  I will miss her every day.  Let us celebrate a life well lived and loved.
