Jacqueline's obituary

Jacqueline Nada Kegler, age 68, transitioned peacefully on May 14, 2020. She was born May 29, 1951 in independence Virginia to Jamila Dennison and Joseph Dennison.
Jacqueline loved to love on people she tirelessly and selflessly took care of her children and her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She crocheted quilts and clothing and her hands were rarely still. She spent many hours writing the word of God as she loved her God and her Jesus. She also shared her love with food as she loved to bake one of her signature dishes was the famous carrot cake made from scratch. She tirelessly diced and shredded the carrots and made the cake and the icing from scratch.
It gave her much pleasure and fulfillment just to bake and see others enjoy her creations.
Her life was a living example of the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also for gave you in Christ." She loved unconditionally and anyone who knew her loved her because she was one of the sweetest people in the world.
Jacqueline was a faithful and loving Seventh Day Adventist and a member of City Temple Seventh Day Adventist church in Detroit Michigan under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Duncombe. Every time she would go anywhere she would always engage in sharing the gospel with someone else as she in her loving heart wanted everyone to be saved.

Jacqueline is survived by her her two sisters Atasa Dennison and Haseenah Bishop-Taylor and her brother Joseph Dennison. She also has a sister Fatima Pryor who preceded her in death. Jacqueline leaves behind seven children Aaron, Horace, Edward, Khalaida, Iesha, Shantae, and Collette, 30 grandchildren, 30 Great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, Brother-in-law Lawrence Taylor, Sister-in-law Alice Dennison, and special sister Betty Hill.
Anyone who knew her know that she has some thing as bright as the sun and that was her beautiful smile.
If she could speak right now she would tell us all don’t worry about me I’m with the Lord right now and she will have that pretty smile on her face. She will also say to all of her family members put God first, stay together, love one another, pray for each other and show love and all situations.
