Sending my condolences to the family.  I was a student of Mrs. Gould's at Gill Elementary School for her first year of teaching there and she was easily one of my favorite teachers.  We did a project that we wrote and illustrated our own books that fueled my lifetime love of writing.  As an adult living in Brattleboro we met again and she (very nicely) scolded me to call her Jackie, but out of my utmost respect for her as my teacher I continually called her Mrs. Gould.  Sarah babysat my children down on Ames Hill for a few years as well.  Sending up good thoughts in Mrs. Gould's memory and wishing the family peace as they grieve her loss.
