Jacqueline's obituary
June 6th, 1956 - December 22, 2021
Beth truly had a soul that was not of this world. She had a kind, joyful, and selfless spirit. A nickname given by friends was “Bubbly.” That’s just the perfect expression to sum her up. Beth was extremely loved and has so many friends from throughout her life.
Beth lived with her daughter and son-in-law at their home in Irondale, Alabama from 2015 until her precious Lord Jesus carried her home to Him. Beth grew up in Jacksonville and moved with her family to Birmingham in the 1960’s. She graduated from Huffman High School, and briefly moved to snowy Minnesota. After her adventure north, she came back home to Birmingham. She had a daughter and went into retail becoming the manager of Tempo Fashions. She then became the assistant manager of the fine jewelry department at Parisian. She also spent time at Belk, working with Lancôme.
Beth was a very beautiful woman, inside and out. She loved her daughter dearly, and she put all her energy into giving her a great life. Beth loved the Lord, bluebirds, family, friends, fashion, and jewelry. She enjoyed Facebook. She loved to give her friends a sweet little post to brighten their day or say good night. Beth would often reach out to pray with a friend when someone needed it. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She also loved music. When her daughter was a teenager, they would drive around for hours in the evening, just singing along with the radio.
Born in Anniston, Alabama to David and Jacqueline Wolfe, Beth is now celebrating with them in Heaven, along with her maternal grandparents, Crook (Ruby) Bradley, paternal grandparents, David (Ada) Wolfe. We know she is also delighted to see again her sweetest “paw-friend,” her beloved puppy, Honey Love. Those still waiting to join her in Heaven
include daughter and son-in-law, Danielle (Rafael) Hernandez. Beth’s dearly loved grandchildren are Bailey Merrill, Ruby Hernandez, and David Hernandez. Her loving sister and brother-in-law Lauri (Stephen) Funderburk also survive her, as well as nephew Bradley (Jennifer) Funderburk; great-niece Scottie and great-nephew Wells Funderburk. Uncle & Cousin, Wayne (Kathleen) Wolfe.
