Jackie's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, Jacquelin "Jackie" Evans. She was born on August 4, 1941, and passed away on June 24, 2024.
Jackie was renowned for her smart, sharp-witted personality. An unwavering pillar of strength, she believed in accepting life as it comes, often emphasizing "It is what it is" during challenging times, teaching us to be resilient in the waves of life.
Her legacy is one of fearless advocacy for the defenseless, particularly children. Her passion and dedication to protect those who could not defend themselves have made an indelible impact on the lives she touched. Though her time with us was limited, her influence was profound, and she left an unforgettable mark on this world.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar "Butch" Evans, in 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Lisabeth Bonafede, her son, Matthew Evans, nine grandchildren, and a Persian cat. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. We will remember her not just for the sorrow of her loss, but for the joy and wisdom she brought into our lives.
As we mourn her passing, let's also celebrate the life she lived and the lives she touched. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, and for this, we remain eternally grateful.
