Jake's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacobo "Jake" Carvajal on March 23, 2025. Born on February 5, 1956, Jake was known for his loving and playful nature, as well as his incredible work ethic. He was the life of any gathering and had a heart big enough to encompass everyone he encountered.
Jake's proudest accomplishment was contributing to the construction of the Riverside Cafe in Vero Beach, Florida. Those who knew him will remember his tireless energy and the sense of joy he brought to his work.
He is survived by his sons Glenn and Jason Carvajal; his brothers Salomon Carvajal Zarco, Luis Carvajal Zarco and Juan Gerardo Liceaga Zarco who will fondly remember their brother's enduring spirit. He is also survived by his sisters Marcela Teresita Liceaga Zarco and Margarita Marisa Liceaga Zarco; and his cousin Liz Carvajal. His niece Aline Carvajal and nephews Joel Carbajal, Salomon Carvajal, Luis Carvajal, Jonathan Carvajal, Joseph Carbajal, Humberto Liceaga, Cesar Liceaga, Oscar Liceaga also survive him. Jake was blessed with two granddaughters, Juliet and Emily Carvajal, and nieces Maria de lourdes Carvajal, Elisabet Carvajal, Erika Palacios Liceaga, Marisa Magali Medina Liceaga, Scarlet Liceaga, and Jennifer Carvajal who will all continue to honor his legacy.
Jake was predeceased by his parents Margarita Zarco Molina, Serafin Carvajal Caudillo, and Juan Gerardo Liceaga, as well as his brother Samuel Elias Carvajal Zarco and niece, Jessical Carbajal.
Jake’s loss will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his many loved ones forever.
