Jacob's obituary
He left us peacefully at his residence in Heathrow, Florida. He was 88 years old.
Jack was born June 25, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Nick and Ana Wolf. Jack is survived by his three children; Nicki and Ken Buell, Jamie and Walter Tanner and Andrew and Heather Wolf. His beloved grandchildren – Katie, Tori, Emily, JT, Lena, Drew and his great grandchild, Maddie.
Jack lived a full life. After retiring from James River he was active with the TPC Players Championship, the Gator Bowl Association and volunteers for a number years for the suicide Prevention Center in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition, he enjoyed working as a School Crossing Guard. During his short stay in Fredericksburg, VA – he was active with the Goofers and the Veterans Association.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Friday, November 8th at 1:30. Jack and his wife Mary will be interned after the ceremony.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Heart Association in Jack’s name.
