Background
It's always difficult to lose someone so young, especially as you consider the many things that person will never get to do in life: start a career, fall in love, form a family, leave their mark, share their ideas, spread their joy, etc. Contributing financially so their family can leave some lasting memorial in the world will help Jake be remembered even by those who never got to know them otherwise. Every little bit will help. Thanks for helping out.
