Background

Jacob was born with Beta Thalassemia a rare blood disorder and required monthly blood transfusions. We were patients of Johns Hopkins Hospital his entire life and were grateful it was close by our home. Many families do not have this convenience. This disorder ultimately took his life at 27 years old. My hope is that the funding will help families in need of care.
