It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaclyn "Jackie" Waites, who left this world far too soon on September 20, 2023. Born on March 1, 1985, Jackie, as she was affectionately known, has forever marked the lives of those who knew her. She will always be remembered for her vivacious spirit, enduring strength, and ever-present kindness.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father Rick Waites and grandparents Jack and Doreen Thias. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Wendy Waites (Joe Simmons), brother Ian Waites (Carrie Pendleton), Uncles Philip and Roger, Aunts Karen and Christina, cousins Helen, Jack, Jesse, Matthew, Larry, and many other cousins and friends, who will continue to honor Jackie’s legacy by living their life to the fullest. We invite those who knew Jackie to reflect on the countless joyful moments they shared with her. May she find peace, wonder, and joy among the stars.
