Jack's obituary
Jackie "Jack" Dean McHenry peacefully went home with the Lord on March 30, 2025 surrounded by love and family. Jack was born on June 30, 1942 in Denver, Indiana to William (Bill) and Martha McHenry. He was a graduate of Indiana University. A proud Vietnam veteran, Jack served his country with honor and courage. Jack lived a life marked by quiet strength, devotion to family, and steadfast faith.
For 55 years, Jack shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Nancy McHenry. Their bond was the cornerstone of a family that grew to include three daughters: Angela (Ed) Wiliford, Carmen (John) Donald, and Sara (Chris) Lewis. Jack took great pride in his role as grandfather to ten cherished grandchildren and as a great-grandfather to one great-granddaughter. He also shared a close relationship with his beloved sister Jane (Don) Moon.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Martha McHenry, as well as his sister, Bonnie McHenry. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held in his honor on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Eaton Hall, located at 61 N Green Street in Brownsburg, Indiana.
Jack's legacy lives on through the love he gave so freely and the lives he touched along the way. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew him
