Jackie's obituary
She was born in Union City on March 9, 1951, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Nielsen Vanderhoff. She graduated from Union City Area High School in the class of 1969. She worked as an Optician in the Erie County region for a number of years. She was a former life member of the First United Methodist Church in Union City. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, collecting ceramic dolls, and spending time with family and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her first daughter Jennifer in 1973.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Henry of Erie; three children, Sara S. Crane and her husband, Patrick of Rock Hill, N.C., Julie E. Moose and her husband Daniel of Crafton, Pa., and Neal T. Henry and his partner Chay of New Kensington, Pa.; three sisters, Maxine VanZandt Murphy of Cambridge Springs, Jane Carter and her husband Chet, and Maryanne Thornton, all of Erie. Seven grandchildren further survive her; Gabriel, Isaac, Sam, Emily, Noak, Aurora, Elijah, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
