It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Wilson Sr., who passed away September 7, 2023, at his home. Born to the late Robert and Ruby Almon Wilson on February 2, 1951, in Salisbury NC, Jack was an admirable figure who left an indelible mark on all who had the fortune to know him.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Betty Hemmings Wilson, daughter Melissa Brigman of Salisbury, son Jack Wilson Jr. of Salisbury, and daughter Laura (Brian) Springer of Kingsport, TN.  Brother, Marvin Wilson of Salisbury. 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a special nephew, Jason Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister Rita Wilson Hand, his brother RJ Wilson, and his daughters Candi Lynn Wilson and Sandy Lynn Wilson. 

Jack had a rich life filled with love and joy. He had a lifelong love for fishing and enjoyed traveling to Kure Beach, NC, a locale that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Wilson family.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at The Salvation Army, located at 620 Bringle Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC.

The Wilson family expresses their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
