While I was not a blood brother to Jack, we both believed that family is not only by blood but by also.  I always quite fondly thought of Jack as a brother from another mother and will miss him until I see him again when I too pass from this Earthly realm.  It was in Jack's (& Tammi's) tent that I got the phone call telling me that Penny, my beloved wife of 18 years had just passed away.  It was April 20th, 2019 at 10:38 am.  If it wasn't for the loving support I received from Jack and Tammi those first several months, I would not be around now to mourn Jack's passing.  We all lost a brother, partner, confidante, helper, aid, partner in crime, and a truly good man at heart when Jack exited this world.  I bet he is up in heaven giving all the angels as much hell as he can.  Love you, Brother.  Miss you deeply.
I gave him that coat and took the picture. He was on his way to give a speech to the mayor about dignity village.
