Deepest condolences to Dorothy and Montana .
Jack was one of kind for sure.
He was such an unusual combination of talent, wisdom, passion, patience, grace and kindness all wrapped up in a the guy we all loved, Jack.
I was privileged to work many long unpaid hours with him on environmental causes in Glendale
Jack walked the walk ,when it came protecting the earth. I still hear his voice sometimes if I'm not recycling correctly, and I'm grateful for it.
He was also a dedicated family man, Dorothy and Montana were always at the center of his world.
Cheers to a life very well lived !
Thank you Jack, for being my buddy.

I remember seeing Jack riding his bike in Glenoaks Canyon long before I knew who he was. I would be jogging down from the ball field with my dog, and he would come flying past me with his shirt flapping from the speed he was going, a look of pure joy on his face.
And, when I got to know him and Dorothy, I found out what a wonderful, kind, thoughtful person he was. Terry and I have missed seeing Jack on our daily dog walks when he was out with his beloved Luna and Wolfie.
Jack, may you rest in peace. We all miss you. Dorothy and Montana, our thoughts are with you as you both continue to heal.

Just too much to say. Jack gave me his camera, his studio, his truck, a skill set I didn’t learn at undergrad or postgrad.
He gave me a chance and I hope I paid him back. When he came East, I was upset that I didn’t get to tell him.

Dearest Dorothy and Montana, We are so sorry we cannot be at Jack's Celebration of Life. We will write a sweet, loving message to our sweet, loving friend Jack, and send it up to the heavens at the Lantern Festival in Thailand.
"A Light Remains where a Beautiful Soul has Passed." We miss you Jack.
Much Love to you both.

I’ll be out of state working so won’t be able to attend, but I send my love to Jack’s family. I found him to be a wonderfully deep and genrous person who made me smile and laugh. I enjoyed our Indian lunches together as he regailed me with stories from that country. He is missed. 🙏🏼❤️

Working with Jack for the documentary series, "This Giant Beast That is the Global Economy." We were in San Francisco filming a segment with the MegaBots - giant robots. Jack lived and worked with a sense of adventure. Sending love to Dorothy and Montana.
