This humane society I have been involved with for over 8 years helps over 3000 animals every year find forever homes- including our own Henry.
Other causes to support include our local animal sanctuary Woodhaven, which shelters a variety of older/unwanted or special needs animals where I also volunteer (who helped Hera and Helen). https://www.woodhavenrescue.com/about

Memorial events are private

Thank you for honoring the memory of our firstborn son with us. JD died before birth when I was 8 months pregnant (35-weeks) on August 30, 2024 and I delivered him on September 1, 2024. We had a small memorial in our backyard with our ordained minister friend, flowers, and animals present that was very healing. We felt our son in the butterflies, breeze, and even dogs playing as the Holy Spirit. JD is not gone, just not with us here on Earth and will never be forgotten- his footprints are forever on our hearts.
