Sara, Jesse, Michael,
When you lose a loved one,no words can express the pain you feel .I only wish youto be able to find a little comfort in the presence of your friends, those of Jack and your family. I would have liked to be with you for this ceremony but that is impossible for me. Angela will represent me. All my affection surrounds you and your Mam as well. Charles

Jack.
You were more than a friend to me ; You were a brother whith whom I shared so many passions. Our bond was great. I remember our trips in England where you were my guide, several times to Paris with once the pleasure of having Sara, Jesse and Michael accompanying you . Le Chateau de Versailles. Lyon Capital of gastronomy and its restaurants that you loved so much. The South East of France where we tasted tasty wines and met Mary (Hopkins). You introduced me to the world of entertainment in Los Angeles as well as the Preview with the Bofa which you were member, Beverly Hills, museums and cars circuits, auctions of classic vehicules and the restaurants you loved. Seal Beach where we often found ourselves and so many other souvenirs. Jack I miss you a lot and the future without you will not be the same. Bye my English man. Your crasy French guy.

I knew Jack when he worked at Apple in London just before he moved to LA in 1970 I was at his leaving party at the Speakeasy when he suggested Patsy (a girlfriend of his) and i came over to visit him in LA which we did . He was such a kind and generous person and let me stay most of the year and we made a deal that i did all the cooking which suited me fine.
We stayed friends after i came back to London and always got together when I visited California on business or pleasure through the years
Jack will always be in my thoughts for ever, and during last year he tried so hard to communicate with me even though he had trouble talking . I miss him but have so many wonderful memories

I moved into my home on Michael Avenue 13 years ago and Jack was one of the first neighbours to offer a warm welcome. We often passed each other's house while walking our dogs and enjoyed sharing dog stories. We always had a laugh over how overly devoted we were to them. When he discovered I was also English, of course this was a great reason to get together. We would go out for breakfast at the local French cafe, dinner at our even closer sushi restaurant, or just have a glass of wine. Over the last few years, we shared many memories of our lives in England, Jack's stories of his time with The Beatles, goals and dreams, as well as ending up in California. I miss him and will always remember my English gentleman friend with love.

I met Jack when I was 15, when he had a full head of hair and was known to all as Jack The Raver. We recorded together for Decca with a spectacular lack of success as The Chocolate Watch Band before splitting due to "musical similarities". I'm proud to say he always credited me with having "dragged him into the music business" and even prouder to say we had a 60 year friendship without a single cross word. My world will be a little colder and a lot less fun without him. Love to all.... Gary Osborne
