Jack's obituary
Jack Lettmann passed suddenly on January 06, 2023. He was born on September 26, 1957 in his beloved hometown of Kirkwood, MO. He was baptized into Christ as a child and took comfort in his faith. The son of a carpenter, Jack was an inquisitive kid and always passionate about how things worked from the start. This curiosity later kickstarted his career in machinery. He never stopped being interested in what made things "tick".
He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his loving parents: Maxine and Bob, his sister, Laurie and is survived by his brother Kim. He had two daughters from his first marriage which were raised in Webster Groves: Kelly (Shawn) and Kerry (Bryan) and later married wife Diann and became a stepfather to Kyle, Kory and Krystal (Jared). He loved them all and some of his favorite times were surrounded by family while living the scenic life in Gerald, MO.
He enjoyed working on home improvement projects (mostly the "enjoyment" happened with the project was over) and he was quick to try to help solve a problem if he could, give advice if he had it, and appreciated peace when it was available. He loved a home cooked meal but everyone also loved when it was his turn to “cook” (which meant he was taking the family out to dinner! He absolutely adored spending time with his grandchildren: Evelynn, Milo, Dominic, Delaney and Kyana as well as several unforgettable canine friends that made their way into his heart over the years (Sugar, Lucee, Savannah, to name a few).
Early onset Parkinson's disease robbed him of many things, but he was thankful for the memories, and the true blessings, the loved ones in his life. In his final years he was more committed than ever to his faith. His live came full circle and he lived his final years back in the heart of Kirkwood.
