Jack Johnson Obituary

Jack Boyd Johnson was born January 2, 1938, in Panola County, Texas and went home to be with his Lord on November 22, 2022. His family was by his side during his last days. He loved the Lord, his wife of 64 years, Marjorie and his family. He was born to William and Nora Boyd, his birth Mother passed away when he and his twin brother were only 10 days old. He and his twin brother were adopted by a loving uncle and aunt, Clarence and Helen Johnson. He grew up in East Texas, moved to Pasadena when he was 17 years old where he graduated from Pasadena High School. He was in the Marine Corp for 2 years in San Diego, California. He worked a few jobs before hiring on at HL&P as a Mechanic. He progressed in his career and retired in 1995 as a Transportation Supervisor. He was a devoted member of Monument Baptist Church. He loved to fish, travel, work on cars and woodwork, but most of all he loved spending time with family. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie, daughters and Sons-in-law, Sherri and Todd Stockdale and Donna and Ray Demmon. Grandsons, Heath Stockdale, Zachary Stockdale and wife Sarah, Daniel Demmon and wife Crystal, and Dillon Demmon. Great Grandkids, Korben Potts, Kira Palermo, Sawyer Stockdale, Braxton Stockdale, Aubrey Stockdale and a great granddaughter Demmon on the way. As well as multiple nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous friends he loved as family. A celebration of life and visitation will be held at Monument Baptist Church, Deer Park, TX on Saturday, November 26th, visitation starts at 11am, the funeral service will start at noon with interment following at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena, TX.
