Jack Sterling Friedman, 73, of Seal Beach, CA, passed away on October 30, 2025 surrounded by family  

A proud graduate of Los Alamitos High School’s first graduating class, Jack went on to study at both UCLA and USC before beginning a career with Boeing, where he worked until his retirement. He was known for his sharp wit, quick humor, and continuous acts of quiet service  

Jack was, above all else, a family man. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from time spent with those he loved. He is survived by his sister, Vivian, wife of 45 years, Rose, his children, Tegyn, Carissa, and Joshua, and his beloved grandchildren Jade, Lani, Kingston, Jonah, Elle, and Winry.

Jack’s heart for others ran deep. He gave quietly, served humbly, and loved fiercely. His wisdom will continue to guide all who were blessed to know him.

He was tremendously loved and will be deeply missed. He was a steady, loving force whose legacy of humor, kindness, and devotion to family will live on.
