Butterflies (Insert butterflies with this poem)🦋
While Waiting for Thee:
Don't weep at my grave, for I am not there, I've a date with a butterfly to dance in the air. I'll be singing in the sunshine, wild and free, Playing tag with the wind, while I'm waiting for thee.
When Tomorrow Starts Without
Me
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see, If the
sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without
me, Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my
name, And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
It almost seemed impossible
That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we
shared, And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's
gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at
me, From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you.
Today your life on earth is past,
But here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past.
You have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true. Though
there were times you did some things
You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
And now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand
And share my life with me?"
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
Goodbye To My Dad
Goodbye Dad, I had to say
Nine days ago on a beautiful day
I'll remember the good times and try not to be sad
But saying goodbye still hurts so bad
I miss you more then I can express
My love for you will never grow less
I keep trying to imagine how I will go on
I realize tomorrow is another dawn
I know you're in heaven above
Looking down on us with all your love
Only to whisper in our ear
Remember that I'll never stop loving you dear
I'll always remember the good times we had
Remember the man, my wonderful Dad
I'll remember you each and every day
And if I need to talk to you, I'll just sit down and pray
One day we'll be together again
To talk about all the places we been
Until the time I'll always treasure
Having you for a Dad was such a great pleasure. Your children Amia & Kylan
I Miss You Always
Brother
My heart has been left broken
Since the day you had to go
And the memories I treasure dearly
Are in the tears that still flow You're in my thoughts everyday And that's how it will always be
For you may be up in Heaven now
But you'll always be with me If only I could have the chance
To see your face once more
Or to hear your voice one final time
Just like it was before The day that Heaven calls for me Will be a relief from all this pain I’ll run to you with open arms And we will meet again
With Love your brothers Kindarius & Quantavious Thomas
Never Say Goodbye
There can be no goodbyes for us It’d be to painful, dear
Our connection still lives on
Although you’re far from here
I miss the times that we once had
But one day, once again
I’ll hold you close and laugh with you
I just wish I knew when
Each moment til that day arrives
Until my time is through
I’ll miss you more than words can say
And always think of you
I’ll look for you among the stars, And each dawn’s pastel sky,
And whisper words of love to you
But never say goodbye
Love Mom & Dad
Forever is a Long Time But That’s How Long We Will Love You….
FAMILY
To my family "the brevity of human life" can be short lived sometimes. We don’t know the minute or the hour. To be born, you must die. We have to show love while we live. Don’t let funerals be what brings us all close together. When death hits our family it should remind us of what’s important. FAMILY
