Dr. Lambert was one of the most genuine people I knew.  I would always call in Dr. Lambert and he would tell me to call him Dave; we did this dance for 20 years.  When he first walked into my office in DRST, he was like so you are from hurricane alley.  I will miss him.

David was a friend and colleague.  He always had a smile and was willing to help whenever needed.  Beth and I have many fond memories including the day he brought a group of young college students  to help us build a demonstration rainwater catchment system at Christ the King school.  That was a day of innovation, improvise, trips to hardware store and genuine enjoyment over a successful venture.  We’ll truly miss him.
