Ivy McFarlane, 91, of Jamaica, WI, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Ivy is survived by her children Clinton "Danny" Mcfarlene; daughter Pauline "Marva Banett. Grandchildren Leroy Mcfarlene, Danneisha Gatlin, Clinton Mcdonald, Melissa Elliott, Dajaquan Smith, Zakiyah Pope Ladania Mcfarlene, Danjay McFarlane. Nineteen great-grandchildren, three siblings, Nine nieces, six nephews, countless cousins,s and other extended families. A powerhouse, Ivy dedicated her life to the service of others, both professionally and personally. A nurse by profession, she would serve the citizenry of New York for over Sixty years. In her personal time, she worked with countless people to establish strong roots and legacies in a new land. Ivy was best known for her fierce determination and generous spirit. She " Nuh one fi play wit- Nuh one fi ramp wit," but those who knew her best observed the recipe for perseverance, courage, and strength.

Ivy loved to entertain and dance. She deeply loved her homeland of Jamaica, WI, the land, the culture, and its people. To many, Ivy would be the first to accomplish many things previously thought impossible. She now moved on to glory, where she will again welcome so many distant shores.
